Why use RDP and Socks

I been reading tutorial and it says to use RDP and sock5.

I dont understand why and i dont know if they use the sock on my pc or use it on the rdp end.

Does anyone know anything about this?

U can use socks on rdp if u want get closer to cardholder's zip code,but actually you can use it on your pc

But won't the ip and address of the rdp show because its the last one on the chain?
